SUMMARY:Holiday Celebration
LOCATION:The Sharon Performing Arts Center\, 1051 Main Street\, The Village
 s\, FL 32159
DESCRIPTION:In December 2026\, The Villages Philharmonic will celebrate the
music and traditions that make the holiday season such a special time of
year. This festive concert will bring people together in the warmth of a f
amily-style celebration\, filled with beautiful music\, cherished holiday
traditions\, and the joyful spirit of the season. We are delighted to welc
ome an extraordinary group of guest artists: sopranos Alexandra Molnar and
Marcella Richardson \, tenon Mark Antonio de Villiers\, Norman Lee Schaff
er \, and baritone Sean Stork. Together with The Villages Philharmonic\, t
hese exceptional artists will create a memorable evening celebrating the w
armth\, joy\, and togetherness of the holiday season. Based in Florida’s
friendliest hometown\, “The Villages Philharmonic” is a professional
Orchestra presenting the highest possible standard for excellence in music
al performance since 2003. Under the musical direction of acclaimed Conduc
tor Pasquale Valerio\, the orchestra has grown in stature while enriching
and shaping cultural life. The orchestra presents musical masterpieces to
nourish the hearts\, souls and minds of local music patrons. Most members
live in the Orlando area but we have regular members who come from as far
afield as Jacksonville\, Tampa\, Daytona and St. Petersburg. The Philharmo
nic gives 13-15 concerts per year and so we don’t provide full time empl
oyment for any of the players. Our players are comprised of resident and i
nternational artists who collaborate with symphonic and operatic companies
at large. Although most orchestra members are not Villagers\, there are t
wo professional orchestra members who are Village residents and there are
six amateurs who train each Saturday so that they can meet the standards r
equired to play with the Philharmonic.\n\nhttps://thesharon.com/event/holi
